The 67th was involved in aerial transportation during WW II, flying the Douglas C-47 from 1943 to 1944, and the C-46 from 1944 to 1945. Its Campaigns included the Air Offensive, Japan; New Guinea; Northern Solomons; Bismark Archipelago; Western Pacific and the Philippines.For action in the Philippines, including the airborne assault at Aparri, Luzon, on 23rd June 1945, the squadron was awarded the Philippine Presidential Citation.
